Connect to ChatGPT
ChatGPT connects to MCP servers such as Sidekick for AI as custom connectors, on the ChatGPT plans that allow them. Add the connector with the Sidekick for AI address, then sign in with Google.

Check your plan first
Which ChatGPT plans allow custom MCP connectors, and where the setting lives, has changed several times. On business plans a workspace admin may need to allow custom connectors first. OpenAI’s help explains what your plan allows today.
Add the connector

Open Settings, then Apps & Connectors. Under Advanced settings, turn on Developer mode.

Back in Apps & Connectors, choose Create, and choose OAuth for authentication.

Name it Sidekick for AI and paste this address as the MCP server URL:
https://mcp.heysidekick.app/mcp -
Create it, and sign in with your Google account on Google’s page when ChatGPT asks.

Using it
In a chat, ask about your tasks, or pick Sidekick for AI from the tools menu if your plan shows one. As in every app, deletes are previewed and only happen after you approve them.
